About

On January 10th 2023, Ashley Postma lost her battle with addiction when an accidental overdose of fentanyl took her life. She was a wife, mother, sister, daughter and so much more to so many people. To me, she was my stepdaughter, my friend, my Chicky. My life crashed down around me, and I am forever changed by her passing as is everyone who loved her so much. What I have come to realize though, is that my life didn’t change just that night, but in the many months before her death when I first learned of her addiction. What I experienced as we traveled beside her trying to navigate the dark world of substance abuse and the complex process of rehabilitation would set the tone for what is now my present and my future.

We have formed The Accessible Supportive Healing (ASH) Network, as a response
to the great number of people suffering from substance use disorder. That figure
far exceeds the available resources out there and we believe that any small
measure of help or support could mean the difference between success and
failure, or life and death.

Our aim is to provide support to those seeking treatment through charitable acts and collaborations with existing agencies.
